Freeview has announced significant changes to its TV guide, including channel repositioning and a rebranding. The major update reveals that Talk (Ch 280) will no longer be accessible on Freeview. This British news channel, known for its focus on debate, opinion-led journalism, and politics, featuring renowned presenters like Jeremy Kyle, Mark Dolan, and Kevin O’Sullivan, was launched in 2022.
To continue watching Talk, users must now access the service through the official Talk app or other platforms such as Samsung TVs, Roku devices, and LG screens. Additionally, Freeview’s latest update includes the rebranding of Wedotv Big Stories on channel 275 to Wedotv and relocation of three services on the planner.
Changes in children’s content are also notable, with Ketchup TV moving from Ch 209 to Ch 208, Ketchup Too from Ch 210 to Ch 209, and Cartoon Classics from Ch 214 to Ch 210. Freeview confirmed that on June 25, 2026, several broadcasters will modify their channels, as channels on Freeview are constantly evolving, with individual channels deciding to relocate, add, or remove channels to provide diverse content for audiences.
