She mentioned her intention to prioritize travel and spending quality time with her family, including her children Danny Kruger and Li-Da Kruger, and her five grandchildren from her first marriage to Rayne, who passed away in 2002.
During an interview with Vanessa Feltz, Prue highlighted her eagerness to embrace life fully at 85. She stressed her shift towards wanting more time for personal pursuits like travel and family moments, a departure from her usual work-centered focus driven by genuine enjoyment.
The decision to step back from the celebrity edition of the show followed her desire for a holiday, leading to her replacement by close friend Lady Caroline Waldegrave. Reflecting on her recent travels to Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan with her husband, Prue described it as the best holiday she has ever had.
