Sky has revealed upcoming price increases for certain broadband and TV subscribers starting in April. Broadband customers can expect a monthly rise of £3, while premium TV package rates will go up by £1 to £3. The adjustments, part of Sky’s variable pricing policy, will be implemented in April, giving customers in minimum term agreements the option to cancel without penalty.
In a positive development, Sky has announced that millions of TV users will have access to HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu as part of their standard package from the following month. This addition complements the existing inclusion of Netflix, bringing the total value of streaming services to £20 monthly. A Sky representative emphasized the company’s commitment to providing quality broadband, entertainment, and sports services amid industry-wide cost challenges.
Meanwhile, Sky Mobile customers recently experienced bill increases, with most facing a £1.50 monthly raise, translating to an annual uptick of £18. The updated charges will be reflected in February 14, 2026 bills, marking the first price adjustment for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years. Customers dissatisfied with the changes can terminate their contracts without early termination fees.
For those on the social tariff, designed for individuals with low incomes, the pricing remains unchanged. Customers not under contract may find opportunities to save by comparing mobile and broadband prices online, ensuring they are not overpaying for unused services. Switching providers or negotiating with current ones for better deals are recommended strategies, with potential eligibility for discounted social tariffs for benefit recipients.
