Princess Eugenie has reportedly ended all communication with her father, Andrew, due to the ongoing controversy surrounding her father’s association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who lost his royal titles last October, is said to be deeply saddened by the estrangement from his youngest daughter.
Reports indicate that Princess Eugenie, 35, has chosen not to engage with her father and did not include him in her family Christmas visit. According to a source, there has been complete silence between them, akin to the level of disconnection seen with Brooklyn Beckham.
The situation escalated as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie opted not to spend Christmas with Andrew, instead joining other royals at Sandringham. While Beatrice is trying to maintain a delicate balance between family ties and royal relations, Eugenie has made it clear that she is not in communication with her father.
Following the stripping of his royal titles last year, Andrew was forced to relinquish his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion. His belongings, including valuable art pieces, are now stored in a secure warehouse in South London.
A removal van was recently seen at Royal Lodge, indicating Andrew’s impending move. Although Buckingham Palace has not officially confirmed the details, it is believed that the Norfolk estate, Marsh Farm, will be Andrew’s new residence.
Both Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who lived together at Royal Lodge since 2008, must vacate the property by the end of the month. Reports suggest that Ferguson is prepared to explore new living arrangements.
Recent sightings of removal lorries at the Windsor estate and preparations at Andrew’s potential new residence in Sandringham hint at the upcoming move. Renovations are underway at Marsh Farm as Andrew is expected to reside in temporary accommodations until Easter.
Andrew’s image took another hit with the release of uncomfortable photos in the Epstein file dump before Christmas. Despite his denials of any wrongdoing, the association has raised concerns.
The US Department of Justice was given a deadline to release a substantial portion of the Epstein files by December 19, 2025, shedding light on the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Representatives for Princess Eugenie and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been approached for comments.
