Paige Amber, 32, was with her partner Joe, 40, and their kids, including a 10-month-old baby, when a Ford Fiesta lost control and plowed into their residence in Capthorne, West Sussex on January 2, hitting the gas main and power supply.
The sudden impact shattered their sense of security, forcing them to evacuate immediately and leave behind all their belongings due to concerns about the building’s stability. Since then, the family has been residing in a cramped Travelodge room without windows.
Recalling the terrifying incident, Paige described the moment when parts of their house were hurled across the room by the collision, likening the sound to a bomb explosion. The shocking scene of their once safe home being destroyed in an instant left her and her family traumatized.
