Virgin Media Adds Sky Atlantic to Subscription Package Without Extra Cost

Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost starting next month. This addition will bring popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus to households without any increase in bills. The update is scheduled to roll out for Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers on April 1.

To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, the content will be available on-demand and through Virgin TV Go. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing valuable entertainment by offering Sky Atlantic to over a million Virgin TV customers without any additional steps required.

Meanwhile, Sky has unveiled a new Ultimate TV plan featuring premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that the integration of Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription signifies a new chapter for Sky and NOW services.

This announcement comes as part of Sky’s continuous efforts to enhance its offerings and cater to evolving consumer demands in the entertainment industry.
