A truck driver was taken into custody following a fatal crash last night that resulted in the death of a driver and left several others injured. Authorities are investigating the incident that occurred on the eastbound A14 near Horningsea in Cambridgeshire around 9:25 pm on Tuesday.

The Cambridgeshire Constabulary confirmed the arrest of the lorry driver, a 38-year-old man from Cambridge, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The authorities have closed the eastbound section of the A14 between Junction 34 and 35, with diversions in place.
The A14 remains shut between J33 Milton Interchange and J35 Stow Cum Quy Interchange due to the serious collision and vehicle fire between J34 and J35.
