The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at their home court, marking the 14th time in the past 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, revealing that the Raptors will face off against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena on October 21 to start their campaign. Following this, the team will hit the road for their first away game against the Washington Wizards just two days later.
Among the key matchups at home, the Raptors will host consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17. Additionally, they are scheduled to clash with Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and Canadian talent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10. January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a total of 17 games, including a six-game stretch at home. They are also slated to play 15 back-to-back games during the season, seven of which require no travel.
The NBA has revealed 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two to be scheduled post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament. Despite their strong lineup and performance, the Raptors have once again been excluded from the league’s prestigious Christmas Day games. The last time the Raptors played on December 25 was in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
