A 38-year-old mother, Stacey Dooley, who shares a daughter named Minnie with Strictly Come Dancing celebrity Kevin Clifton, disclosed her pregnancy journey on Amy Jackson Westwick’s podcast, What’s The Tea, Amy?. Stacey revealed that she faced complications with a pregnancy last year, describing it as “dramatic.”
Recalling the distressing incident, Stacey mentioned how she had to undergo immediate surgery at Liverpool Women’s Hospital when she was informed about the internal bleeding. She expressed gratitude for the hospital’s exceptional care during her ordeal.
This is not the first time Stacey has shared her pregnancy struggles. She previously spoke about her challenges on her TV show Stacey Sleeps Over, visibly moved by the emotional topic.
Ectopic pregnancies, affecting around 11,000 pregnancies annually, occur when a fertilized egg attaches outside the uterus. The NHS states that such pregnancies cannot be saved and typically require medical intervention or surgery for removal.
Reflecting on her experience, Stacey mentioned exploring alternative options for expanding her family, recognizing the need to consider different paths after such hardships.
