Sky Sports Personality Objects to Satirical Video

A prominent figure from Sky Sports has expressed discontent over being featured in a satirical video created by Nigel Farage’s Reform party. The video, shared on Reform UK’s Twitter page, humorously portrayed the events surrounding Robert Jenrick’s dismissal by Kemi Badenoch before joining Reform.

In the video, snippets from various sports broadcasts were edited together to highlight the chaotic and unusual nature of the day. Notable sports personalities like Aidan Magee, Harry Redknapp, Chris Kamara, and Dan Bardell were included. However, Dan from Sky Sports took to social media to voice his objection to the video and requested his removal from it.

Expressing his disapproval to his followers, Dan stated, “I don’t want to be associated with Nigel Farage, can I be removed please?” He also responded to a user who suggested he sticks to football, explaining his unexpected appearance in the video. Many users offered support and questioned the use of Sky Sports content without consent.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, Kemi Badenoch accused Robert Jenrick of scheming to harm her reputation. Jenrick, who recently switched parties, criticized the Tories for their failures. Despite the controversy, Farage welcomed Jenrick’s defection, emphasizing the importance of accountability and redemption for past actions.

The Mirror has reached out to both Reform UK and Sky Sports for comments on the matter.
