“Sky One Makes Comeback with New Shows & Ultimate TV Plan”

Sky has revealed upcoming changes to its TV channel lineup, set to take effect in a few hours. Sky Showcase and Sky Max will cease operations on February 24, but there’s good news – Sky One is making a comeback to offer a range of comedy and entertainment shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

In addition to new content, viewers can enjoy familiar favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper, and Ted. Excitingly, Sky One will host Saturday Night Live UK later this year.

Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed enthusiasm for the channel’s relaunch, stating, “Sky One will be a unique hub for Sky Originals, including The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Rob & Romesh Vs., as well as the highly anticipated Saturday Night Live UK.”

The channel will launch on channel 106 on February 24. Alongside this, Sky is introducing the Ultimate TV plan for £24 per month, offering access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and HBO Max, which is coming soon. Subscribers will also gain access to over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime.

Moreover, Sky Cinema users will receive a dedicated Disney movie channel directly in their TV guide, enabling convenient viewing of Hollywood hits without navigating the Disney+ app.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads (starting in March), HBO Max Basic with Ads (from March 26th), Hayu (available from July, with select shows from March), and over 130 Sky channels.
