An airstrike by Russian missiles resulted in the deaths of 10 individuals on Tuesday in a village located in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region, as reported by Ukrainian authorities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack, stating that it occurred at a busy intersection in Pechenihy, Kharkiv region, an area with a post office and stores surrounded by residential buildings.
Images shared by Zelenskyy depicted a destroyed building, cars engulfed in flames, and emergency responders aiding individuals on stretchers.
In response to the strike, Zelenskyy affirmed that Ukraine would retaliate. Additionally, Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region, disclosed that 17 individuals sustained injuries in the attack.

There has been no immediate response from Russia regarding the incident. The attack caused damage to 10 private buildings, a café, a post office, a store, and at least seven vehicles, according to Syniehubov.
According to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office, preliminary information suggests that Russia employed two small Banderol cruise missiles in the assault.
A local official informed public broadcaster Suspilne that the strikes targeted the central area of the village, where the café, post office, and shops are situated.
Significant Drone Offensive by Ukraine
In a significant move, Ukraine launched 620 drones towards Moscow and its vicinity early on Tuesday, marking one of Kyiv’s most extensive air offensives against the region, as revealed by the city’s mayor.
Russian forces managed to intercept 180 of the drones over the Moscow region, with emergency services attending to the crash sites, as detailed by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Telegram, without providing specific casualty or damage figures.
The drones targeted a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce company Wildberries and other facilities near Moscow, confirmed regional Governor Andrei Vorobyov. Several individuals, including a 10-year-old girl, sustained injuries in the region as a result.

Wildberries, a frequent target of Kyiv’s attacks post Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, noted that drone fragments struck a warehouse wall, resulting in minor damage.
