A mother has recounted a disturbing online interaction with notorious criminal Ian Watkins, where he requested to exploit her baby as a “sex slave.” Identified as Hannah, she bravely shared her ordeal following Watkins’ recent death in prison. Watkins, a former member of the band Lostprophets, was serving time for various sexual crimes, including attempts to rape and sexually assault children under 13, with one victim being just 10 months old.
West Yorkshire Police reported the arrest of two men, aged 25 and 43, on suspicion of Watkins’ murder. Hannah revealed that she had initially idolized Watkins but was horrified when he turned his attention to her child. Despite her rejection of his advances during an online exchange when she was 17, Watkins persisted, suggesting a meeting in person and disturbingly inquired about using her baby as a “sex slave.”
Following their encounter, Watkins was apprehended, and authorities discovered a significant amount of child abuse material in his possession, encrypted with references to abuse as passwords. Reports from a former inmate at Wakefield revealed Watkins’ lack of remorse and self-centered nature, with him maintaining a fan base of young women while incarcerated.
Throughout his time in prison, Watkins reportedly received visits from devoted followers, engaging in intimate gestures with them. He amassed a collection of letters containing sexual content from numerous women. In a separate incident, Watkins faced additional charges for possessing a mobile phone in prison, using it to contact a former girlfriend, leading to further insights into his activities behind bars.
In a chilling revelation, Watkins predicted a grim fate for himself, expressing concerns about potential harm from fellow inmates. In 2023, he was brutally attacked by three prisoners, almost losing his life due to severe injuries sustained.
