“Morrisons Offers Free Wonky Carrots for Rudolph”

Morrisons is distributing more than 27 tons of carrots for customers to feed to Rudolph and his companions.

Starting from December 20 until Christmas Eve, shoppers can collect a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” assortment, subject to availability. These carrots may have slightly unconventional shapes or sizes.

Chris Smith, the Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, expressed, “Christmas embodies spreading joy and happiness, so we are pleased to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve.”

He added, “Our Naturally Wonky range supports British farmers, minimizes waste, and offers customers a cost-effective option that still delivers excellent taste.”

This initiative coincides with multiple prominent UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to as low as 5p, encompassing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts.
