“Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua? Hearn hints at unexpected matchup”

Eddie Hearn is considering a potential unexpected matchup between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua as Paul seeks a new opponent for his upcoming fight in Miami, Florida. Originally scheduled to face Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis on November 14, Davis’s involvement is now uncertain due to accusations of battery and kidnapping.

Paul’s promotional team, Most Valuable Promotions, has launched an investigation following the legal action against Davis. They have indicated that they are actively exploring alternative opponents. The statement released by Most Valuable Promotions emphasized their condemnation of violence and their commitment to handling the situation with care and thoroughness before making any decisions.

While no official replacement has been announced yet, several names, including Ryan Garcia, Edgar Berlanga, and even Anthony Joshua, have been mentioned as potential contenders. Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, hinted at the possibility of a fight with Paul when he stated, “Just let me know where.” Hearn also indicated that Joshua is currently focused on a potential February fight, with a return this year seeming unlikely.

Joshua, who last fought against Daniel Dubois in September 2024, may face the first calendar year without a professional bout in his career if he does not compete this year. The boxing community eagerly anticipates updates on Joshua’s next opponent as the sport awaits his return to the ring.

Sky has recently discounted its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 season, offering a substantial savings of £192 and over 1,400 live matches across various leagues. Sky’s lineup for the new season includes a significant increase in the number of live Premier League games, promising an exciting viewing experience for football fans.
