A father of four tragically lost his life in a shark attack at a popular tourist spot while attempting to fend off the predators with a GoPro camera. Barak Tzach, 40, was identified as the victim following a two-day search along Israel’s Mediterranean coast. According to reports, Tzach was seen struggling in the water as onlookers watched in horror. Witnesses recounted hearing his cries for help as he was attacked by the shark. Distressing footage showed the shark swimming among beachgoers before the fatal incident unfolded.

Tzach’s wife revealed that he was an experienced swimmer who had been in the area before. She described how he tried to keep the sharks at bay with the GoPro stick before being pulled underwater. Police and emergency services are continuing the search for more remains, offering condolences to the grieving family. Deputy Fire Chief Doron Almashali confirmed the discovery of part of the victim’s remains after an extensive search effort.
