Good evening, Europe! The inaugural Eurovision Song Contest live tour has been revealed to commemorate 70 years of the popular event, promising a nostalgic and exciting experience without any ‘nul points’ mishaps. The tour will feature iconic performers from the competition’s history spanning seven decades, alongside ten fresh talents who participated in the 2026 contest.
Kicking off at London’s 02 Arena on June 15, the tour will visit 10 European cities, including Hamburg, Milan, and Paris, before concluding in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 2. Surprise guest appearances are also in store for fans at each tour stop. The lineup of the 2026 artists will be officially announced by the European Broadcasting Union following this year’s grand final in Vienna, Austria, on May 16. Performers on the tour will showcase both their own Eurovision entries and cover songs from the extensive 70-year songbook.
While the specific lineup is yet to be confirmed, fans are eagerly anticipating appearances from beloved acts like Conchita Wurst, Lordi, Loreen, and UK favorites Bucks Fizz. The UK has a storied history in the competition, having won five times, with memorable victories such as Sandie Shaw’s “Puppet on a String” in 1967 and Katrina and the Waves’ “Love Shine A Light” in 1997.
Despite recent setbacks in the competition, including Olly Alexander’s zero-point public vote in 2024 and girl band Remember Monday’s similar fate last year, the Eurovision Song Contest director, Martin Green, expressed excitement for the unique live tour experience. Green highlighted the tour’s aim to celebrate the contest’s evolution and engage fans across Europe in a new way, honoring the music, artists, and community that have defined Eurovision over the decades.
Progress Productions’ CEO James O’Brien echoed Green’s sentiments, emphasizing the tour’s tribute to the iconic performances and energy that characterize the Eurovision Song Contest. With last year’s shows captivating 175 million viewers worldwide, the anticipation for the upcoming tour is high.
