A family is devastated after losing their beloved 18-month-old child, Teddy Britten-Goddard, in a tragic car accident on the A303 near Amesbury, Wiltshire. The incident involved three vehicles and resulted in Teddy sustaining life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, he passed away at the hospital. Other individuals, including a five-year-old boy and a man in his 70s, were also injured in the collision.
The family expressed their grief on social media, describing Teddy as a sweet and loving child. They posted a tribute on the Salisbury Police Facebook page, emphasizing that it is not a final goodbye but a temporary separation.
Wiltshire Police extended their condolences to the family, acknowledging the difficult time they are going through. Numerous people on social media shared messages of sympathy and support for the family.
A GoFundMe page was set up to assist with the family’s expenses during Teddy’s hospitalization and his mother’s recovery from serious injuries. Following Teddy’s passing, the funds will be used for his farewell and any remaining amount will be donated to support organizations that helped care for him.
The tragic accident occurred when a grey Skoda Karoq collided with a white Peugeot 208 on the A303, causing the Peugeot to crash into a silver Volvo V70. Wiltshire Police urged any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to come forward to assist in the investigation.
