“Cartel Leader Urges Trump: End Mexico Corruption”

A leader of a Mexican cartel has made an appeal to President Donald Trump to address the pervasive corruption in Mexico. Cesar Alejandro Sepulveda Arellano, also known as ‘El Botox’ and identified as the head of Los Blancos de Troya, a militant faction of the Los Viagras cartel, voiced his plea to Trump in a video circulated on social media.

Arellano, who is wanted by authorities in both Mexico and the US, called on the US President to eradicate the corruption and violence afflicting Mexico. He urged Trump to reconsider deporting Mexican migrants and instead integrate them into the American labor market.

Filmed from a concealed location as reported by Mexican media, Arellano directly addressed Trump, stating, “Mr. President of the United States, I respectfully request your intervention in Mexico, as it is urgently required. Unlike Mexico, your administration does not demand bribes.”

He recounted instances where Mexican authorities solicited money from him to operate freely, stating that they extorted one million pesos from him on two separate occasions. Arellano further alleged that the Morelia prison in Michoacan, where his cartel factions are predominantly located, is rampant with drugs.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the Mexican government, Arellano urged the US government and the United Nations to investigate the corruption within Mexico. He accused the Mexican government of perpetuating conflicts while neglecting the country’s development.

In a separate video, Arellano denied involvement in various violent crimes and appealed for the release of his detained wife and daughter following the murder of a prominent agricultural figure, Bernardo Bravo Manriquez.

Manriquez, the president of the Apatzingan Valley Citrus Producers Association, was murdered after denouncing extortion demands by criminal organizations. The Michoacan Attorney General’s Office has implicated Arellano in the killing, leading to multiple arrest warrants issued against him.

Los Blancos de Troya, the faction led by Arellano, has been associated with crimes such as extortion, kidnapping, murder, and territorial dominance in crucial agricultural areas, particularly in the citrus sector.

While Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has collaborated with the US on extraditing cartel leaders and border enforcement, she strongly opposes foreign military intervention. President Trump has hinted at potential military actions against drug cartels. Sheinbaum clarified that any deployment of US troops to Mexico was not under consideration.
