Fourth-ranked Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime is set to lead the Canadian team during the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently placed 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals taking place in November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil with a score of 3-2, while France secured their place in the upcoming round by triumphing over Slovakia with a 3-1 victory.
