Robbie Williams Reflects on Fame, Family, and Sacrifices

Robbie Williams has set a new record by securing his 16th No1 album with BRITPOP this week, surpassing The Beatles. However, despite his success, the 51-year-old acknowledges the personal sacrifices he has made along the way.

Starting next month, Robbie will commence his Long ’90s UK tour after completing a series of performances across Europe. Unfortunately, life on the road has meant spending less time with his children Teddy, Charlton, Colette, and Beau. Reflecting on this, he expressed that during this tour, he feels like he has been an absent parent.

This isn’t the only disruption to Robbie’s family life. Last year, he and his wife Ayda, aged 46, moved to Miami after residing in the UK for a few years. Robbie explained that the move was driven by his need for sunshine for his well-being and mental health, as he had spent 24 years in California and felt the importance of the sun on his back for his overall happiness.

Despite the challenges, Robbie cherishes his strong marriage to Ayda, whom he married in 2010. He dedicates the hit single “Pretty Face” from BRITPOP to her, emphasizing how marriage has transformed him from a boy into a man.

While fans admire Robbie’s toned physique, he admits he is not a fan of the gym. He has adopted a workout routine focused on maintaining his health rather than self-criticism, which has helped him achieve a positive mindset regarding his weight.

Robbie’s journey reflects the balancing act of fame, family, and self-care in the music industry.
