“British Film Studio Exec Frank Khalid Shares Star-Studded Insights”

British film studio executive, Frank Khalid OBE, shares insights into his experiences collaborating with renowned actors like Anthony Hopkins, Renee Zellweger, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Known for overseeing the UK’s leading eco-friendly production facility, Khalid has hosted acclaimed productions such as Killing Eve, Ted Lasso, and Bridget Jones’s Baby.

Established in 2014, the original West London Film Studios expanded in 2024 with the addition of the Parkside location. Khalid invested £30 million in constructing a cutting-edge, sustainable site, featuring a power substation with 10 engines capable of generating three megawatts and a one-megawatt battery backup system to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Notable personalities, including Benedict Cumberbatch and Idris Elba, have commended the studio’s environmental initiatives. Khalid aspires to attract top-tier talent like Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio, with hopes of collaborating with Marvel in the future. Emphasizing his commitment to eco-conscious filmmaking, Khalid aims to position his studio as a premier destination for sustainable productions.

Reflecting on his unconventional journey into the film industry, Khalid shares his transition from cash and carry businesses to establishing a state-of-the-art studio.
