The cause of Roger’s death has not been disclosed yet. Roger, who co-directed the beloved animated movie “The Lion King” with Rob Minkoff, also contributed to other well-known films like “Open Season,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Return to Never Land.”

In his personal life, Roger was married to Leslee Hackenson, with whom he had two children. Although they divorced in 2020, Roger is survived by his ex-wife and their children.
