Jack Fincham, a former Love Island winner, has confessed to struggling with alcohol and drug abuse, revealing he is left with only £20. The 33-year-old reality star admitted to heavy drinking since December and the depletion of his earnings from the ITV show, leaving him financially destitute.
Having triumphed on Love Island in 2018 with Dani Dyer, Jack had battled addiction issues and had a recent relapse after attempting to enjoy a night out. Regretting his actions after being photographed kissing another woman, Jack expressed embarrassment and admitted to not even recollecting the incident.
In an interview with The Sun, Jack disclosed his desire for rehabilitation but lamented having only £20 to his name with no savings. He opened up about his downward spiral into drug use and his feelings of foolishness, stating his disappointment at not having achieved stability in his life at his age.
Reflecting on a recent night out that escalated from a casual drink to consuming tequila shots and various substances, Jack acknowledged feeling envious of the new Love Island contestants. Despite his aspirations for success on television in the future, he is currently focusing on a new engineering job to establish routine and regain control over his life.
Jack’s troubles escalated in 2019 following a cocaine binge that led to a confrontation with Dani. Despite vowing to avoid such mistakes, Jack has faced legal issues, including community service for driving under the influence of drugs, a driving ban, and incidents involving his dog leading to financial penalties and restrictions.
