Myleene Klass has recently called out older individuals on social media who have been sending her offensive messages, including one wishing her to suffer from cancer or Alzheimer’s. The 47-year-old former member of Hear’Say and accomplished musician shared a screenshot of one of the disturbing direct messages she received, expressing frustration with the trend of negative messages from older individuals online.
In response to the hurtful message, Myleene posted a message above the screenshot, questioning why she was being targeted by what she referred to as “grannies” on social media. Her fans quickly came to her defense on various social media platforms, condemning the inappropriate behavior and urging the person responsible to apologize and seek professional help.
Myleene, who is a mother of three, shared the screenshots while highlighting the importance of addressing online trolling. This is not the first time she has faced such behavior, as she previously used her platform to advocate for normalizing breastfeeding in public spaces. Through a series of Instagram posts, she emphasized the challenges and misconceptions surrounding breastfeeding, encouraging other mothers to share their experiences as well.
Additionally, Myleene was honored with an MBE in the 2025 New Year Honours for her significant contributions to women’s health, miscarriage awareness, and charitable endeavors. She continues to use her platform to advocate for important causes and stand up against online harassment and negativity.
