“Luke Littler Clinches World Masters Title in Thrilling Final”

Luke Littler, aged 19, secured the World Masters title, prompting praise from Luke Humphries who dubbed him as the best darts player ever. Littler’s victory over Humphries with a 6-5 scoreline marked his 11th major PDC title win, accompanied by a £100,000 prize. His exceptional performance in Milton Keynes included a 104.72 average and 13 maximums.

Currently, Littler stands as the third most successful player in darts history alongside James Wade, trailing only behind Michael van Gerwen (48 titles) and Phil Taylor (79 titles). With just the European Championship title left to complete his collection of PDC ranked titles, Littler’s remarkable achievements continue to rise.

Despite Humphries outperforming Littler with a 105.51 average and initially leading 5-4, Littler managed to rally back in the last two sets to secure victory. Reflecting on the intense final, Littler acknowledged the pressure and his ability to persevere, ultimately emerging victorious.

Although Price had a chance to clinch victory with a match dart, Littler’s resilience shone through as he capitalized on critical moments in the game, including impressive checkouts that entertained the audience at Arena MK. Humphries, while disappointed with the loss, found solace in his overall performance and the positive outlook it brings for his game going forward.

The ongoing dominance of Littler and Humphries in the darts arena is evident, with Littler gaining the upper hand in recent TV final encounters. Additionally, Sky has introduced a reduced price for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering a vast selection of live matches across various sports leagues. This includes a significant increase in live Premier League games, Formula 1 coverage, darts, golf, and more, providing sports enthusiasts with extensive viewing options.
