“Sky TV Unveils Complimentary Disney+ Upgrade & More!”

Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent announcement of a complimentary upgrade to include Disney+ subscription service. This additional benefit, valued at £5.99, is part of the new Sky Ultimate plan, giving subscribers access to a wide range of content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel at no extra cost.

Moreover, the revamped package will soon introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to further enhance the viewing experience. Integration across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms will ensure seamless access to Disney+ content through features like Continue Watching, search functions, and voice control.

In addition to these offerings, Sky Cinema subscribers can enjoy a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For those not yet on board, the Sky Ultimate package is open to all UK households starting at £24 per month.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, upcoming HBO Max Basic with Ads, access to Hayu, and over 130 Sky channels. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the consolidation of Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into one subscription to provide viewers with a unified entertainment experience.

The update extends access to the expanded lineup at no extra charge for existing customers, with NOW Entertainment users set to receive HBO Max within the app without additional fees. Sky’s aim with these changes is to streamline streaming services and offer viewers a more cohesive viewing experience.
