ITV has officially announced a revamped broadcasting lineup for 2026 as part of a newly inked agreement with the PDC. Luke Littler, the reigning world champion, is set to make his return to the spotlight after a remarkable win at Ally Pally.
In anticipation of the upcoming coverage, ITV has disclosed the programming schedule following the confirmation of their fresh three-year contract with the PDC. The channel will showcase matches from various prestigious events including the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship, Players Championship Finals, and global World Series of Darts events.
Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington from Sky Sports will spearhead the coverage as hosts, with Partington already gearing up for the upcoming World Series of Darts double-header in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The new punditry team on ITV boasts renowned figures like Wayne Mardle, a five-time World Championship semi-finalist, and former Premier League champion Glen Durrant.
Joining them are ex-PDC star Mark Webster and former World Matchplay semi-finalist Chris Mason. The commentary lineup will see Dan Dawson teaming up with talkSPORT commentator Mark Wilson, while broadcasting legend Ian Danter continues his role.
Reflecting on the extended partnership, PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed delight in continuing the longstanding collaboration with ITV, looking forward to over two decades of working together. Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, echoed the sentiments, expressing enthusiasm for expanding and prolonging their live darts coverage for UK audiences.
As the Bahrain Darts Masters kicks off, fans can witness reigning champion Stephen Bunting defend his title against Ryusei Azemoto, while Luke Littler faces off against Ally Pally favorite Paul Lim in the opening round. Sky has also introduced discounted prices for its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering a substantial savings opportunity and a wide array of live matches across various sports leagues.
