Darts Sensation Luke Littler Open to I’m a Celeb for £50M

Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might entertain the idea of participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial sum of £50 million was offered, despite his current reservations after watching the show. The 18-year-old darts sensation has been closely following this year’s season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, whose appearance on the ITV program sparked speculation about Littler’s potential involvement.

When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler expressed a tentative interest, stating that he might consider it for the right price. However, he recently clarified that while he previously hinted at being open to the idea, the daunting challenges showcased on the show have made him rethink his willingness to join hosts Ant and Dec in the jungle.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Littler admitted that despite initially mentioning the importance of the financial aspect, witnessing the extreme trials on the show has made him reconsider his stance. Even when presented with a hypothetical offer of £10 million, he remained firm in his decision. Only when the interviewer proposed a staggering £50 million did Littler humorously shift to a “maybe,” emphasizing his aversion to the idea of encountering snakes and other jungle hazards.

As Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming trials on the show, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, commencing at Ally Pally next month. Following his historic victory last year, where he became the youngest world champion in darts history, Littler returns as the sport’s current world No 1, aiming to emulate Gary Anderson by retaining the coveted Sid Waddell trophy. His defense begins with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
