“Tragic Drowning at Wet’n Wild Water Park in Brazil”

A tragic incident at Wet’n Wild water park in Itupeva, Brazil, resulted in the death of a 24-year-old lifeguard, Guilherme da Guerra Domingos. The lifeguard lost his life while attempting to retrieve a tourist’s ring from a pool. Unfortunately, he became trapped underwater in the pool’s drainage system and drowned.

The accident occurred at the Water Bomb attraction, where Guilherme’s colleagues grew concerned when he failed to resurface. They quickly intervened, pulling him out of the water and administering first aid. Despite their efforts, Guilherme was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Nossa Senhora Aparecida Municipal Hospital.

According to reports, Guilherme had been an employee at the park for over two years and was recently promoted to a sector leader position. The park management confirmed that the Water Bomb attraction did not have a bottom drain and explained the hydraulic system’s safety features.

Authorities have verified that the park is operating in compliance with all necessary regulations and documentation. Wet’n Wild has temporarily closed the park and assured that they are assisting Guilherme’s family while fully cooperating with the ongoing investigations.

Following the tragic incident, Guilherme’s body was taken to the Forensic Medical Institute in Jundiaí and later laid to rest in Bragança Paulista. The park remains closed as the investigation continues and efforts are made to ensure the safety of all visitors.
